The conveyors repairs can be easily executed with the use of these BELT CLAMPS. The top clamp unhooks and is fitted over the belt, hooked in again and big securing nuts screwed up by hand to get initial grip on the belt. A TIRFOR or similar tool is then connected to CABLE SLINGS and tension is applied. As tension is increased on the cams of the unit, the unit grips tighter, relieving securing nuts. The jaws of the clamps is lined with a non-slip plate making it safe to operate. When the repair is complete, securing nuts must be slacked off and then the tension released on the Tirfor. No special or extra tools are required when using the BELT CLAMPS.
