The conveyor splicing can be easily executed with the help of this BELT CUTTER. The top frame unhooks and is fitted over the belt. Once the BELT CUTTER is lined up at 90 degrees to the belt, using the alignment plates of the BELT CUTTER, the top frame can be hooked in again by the spring-loaded clamp to get a grip on the belt. As soon as the belt cutter is in position the ratchet lever can be operated to slice the belt at the set position. To remove the BELT CUTTER, release the spring-loaded clamp and the top frame will then open up over the belt.
