This is a secondary scraper manufactured with a choice of STEEL, POLY-STEEL, CERAMIC or TUNGSTEN blades, and can be fitted on any position along the belt, from the head pulley to the end of the chute. This unit is supplied with SELF-ADJUSTABLE PEDESTAL BRACKETS for eliminating maintenance. When the scraper is installed, the blades should have a negative rake of travel against the belt. Thus allowing clip-joints or any other obstruction on the belt to deflect the blades, making it impossible for the scrapers blades to do any damage.

This is a hydraulic secondary scraper designed for low maintenance and optimum effeciency.
The scraper’s adjustment mechanism is based on the HYDROELASTIC principle, whereby the ACCUMULATOR TANK contains both oil and water. The operating pressure of the scraper is . 5 BAR, and this is determined by a pressure gauge, and the fluid level is determined by means of a
DIPSTICK, with which the level can be re-filled if necessary. To vary the blade tension, pressure
can be lowered or increased through the ACCUMULATOR TANK. This unit ensures equal pressure on the blades as well as maintaining the correct blade angle to the belt at all times, giving a superior
cleaning action. PUMA-HS can be fitted with various blades depending on the material and
application, this unit is engineered to give long life both on the blades as well as the mechanical
action, once installed, no further adjustments are required until blade re-placement. Risk on belt
damage is reduced because of arm deflection in relation to the belt.

This is a secondary scraper that uses a unique cleaning system, whereby the blade is shaped in a cresent and operates in a convex that tracks negatively against the belts direction. This scraper has excellent cleaning capabilities in a sludge or watery application. The blades offered are POLY, STEEL OR TUNGSTEN and the scraper is fully SELF ADJUSTABLE using spring tension.

The application is a sweeping motion. The unit is driven off of the converyor belt using the TOP front idler, which mechanically drives the brush. This unit can fit on any conveyor structure, regardless of the width.
